A 13-year-old boy is recovering after he was slashed amid an after-school scuffle in Brooklyn on Friday, cops said.
The victim was on Roosevelt Pl. near Atlantic Ave. in Brownsville when he got into a fight with a boy the same age around 3:45 p.m., law enforcement sources told the Daily News.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim with lacerations to his lower back and medics rushed him to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, cops said.
The victim attends the Eagle Academy for Young Men at Ocean Hill, a boy’s school located on Herkimer St. about a block away from where he was slashed, sources said.
Police are looking for a 13-year-old suspect, according to sources.
