Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce source says ‘nothing has changed’ amid split speculation

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are A-OK amid speculation their A-list love story has come to an end.

An insider insisted to Us Weekly that “nothing has changed” for the “Everything Has Changed” singer and Super Bowl champ, despite Swift skipping Kelce’s last two games.

“They’re spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities — his game and her music empire, along with personal projects,” the source said.

The couple, who have been dating since July 2023, are “choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy,” the insider added.

Though Swift supported the Kansas City Chiefs tight end at the team’s Sept. 5 winning season opener — followed by high-profile dates around New York City and another appearance at his Sept. 15 game — she skipped the Chiefs’ away games on Sept. 22 in Atlanta and Sept. 29 in Los Angeles, promptly speculation there was trouble in paradise.

The latter was the absence that really raised eyebrows, as it came a day after the couple’s allegedly planned breakup date.

Early last month, representatives for Kelce slammed a viral “contract” as a hoax, after a reportedly forged document claimed Swift and Kelce had a PR relationship, and one they’d agreed to end on Sept. 28.

However, the insider told Us Weekly that Swift and Kelce are choosing to “simply shrug off the stories,” and attributed the pop star skipping games to her upcoming “super busy” schedule. She’s currently gearing up for the end of her record-breaking Eras Tour, taking its final bow in December, ahead of which, Swift is just “enjoying a few more days of freedom.”

Between the last two Chiefs games, NFL analyst Todd McShay blamed Kelce’s recent performance on his “partying all offseason” with the “Cruel Summer” singer, including on the international legs of her Eras Tour.

“It’s like are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape?” McShay said on “The Ryen Russillo Podcast,” adding that Kelce’s “been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world, that he’s drinking, going to the U.S. Open.”

Despite Kelce’s slower start, the Chiefs remain undefeated this season.

It’s unclear whether Swift will return to the stands on Monday, when the Chiefs return home to Arrowhead Stadium, facing off against the New Orleans Saints.
