Taylor Fritz couldn’t hold back the tears following his US Open semi-final win against Frances Tiafoe.
Fritz twice trailed in sets to his fellow countryman, before fighting back and taking the final set 6-1.
He’ll now face world No.1 Jannik Sinner in the US Open final on Sunday.
But speaking after the win, an emotional Fritz said: “I mean, it’s, it’s the reason why I do what I do. It’s the reason why I work so hard. It’s, I mean [tears up], I’m in the finals, the US Open.”
