THE cause of death of an American tourist found dead on a stretch of beach in the Bahamas has been revealed by cops.
Dinari McAlmont’s remains were discovered on the morning of April 5 – just hours into his vacation with his parents.
He and his family had jetted out to the Bahamas on April 4 and were staying at the luxury Atlantis Paradise resort.
But, McAlmont, 23, went missing after telling his parents just before 9pm that he was going to explore the idyllic getaway.
This sparked an urgent search, and cops believe he drowned.
But, McAlmont’s family were shown a picture of him, and his mom said he looked unrecognizable.
“There is foul play,” she told the Fox affiliate WTTG-TV.
