Multiple people have died and at least nine stabbed during a frenzied attack at a festival in Germany.
The violence unfolded at the Festival of Diversity in Solingen, city around 25km east of Dusseldorf.
Pictures and videos on social media show a huge police response with large parts of the city cordoned off.
