Vladimir Putin delivered humiliating blow as Ukraine wipes out crucial Black Sea target

Vladimir Putin was reportedly delivered yet another hammer blow as Ukraine continues to ramp up its attacks on Russia.

The Ukrainian Navy allegedly obliterated large fuel depots near the Black Sea in a series of drone strikes.

The operation was executed by the navy’s Black Six unit, leaving Russia contemplating its next move.

Although the exact date of the obliteration of the Russian warehouse remains unspecified, Ukraine has been deploying drone strikes throughout this week to target similar depots.

The assault occurred on the Kinburn Spit, a slender strip of land recently retaken by Ukrainian forces.

On August 9, a raid was launched on the occupied spit in Mykolaiv Oblast by Defense Intelligence’s special forces.

Intelligence reports suggest that during the operation, Kyiv destroyed six Russian armoured vehicles and wiped out approximately 30 Russian troops.

The strategic importance of the Kinburn Spit was highlighted by the Ukrainian Navy, as Russian forces stationed there have been launching attacks on the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

Regaining control of this area would significantly enhance Ukraine’s coastal security and access to the sea, reports the Irish Star.

The strikes have mainly targeted weapons and resource storage areas in an attempt to weaken any potential Russian counter-offensive.

Additional video footage reveals drone strikes on a military airfield in southern Russia, which stored a variety of fuels, lubricants, and anti-tank weapons.

A military intelligence source told NBC News: “The Security Service of Ukraine works with surgical precision at the airfields from which the enemy attacks Ukraine.

“Each such implementation reduces the superiority of the Russians in the air and significantly limits their aviation capabilities.”

Ukraine’s Army General Staff confirmed it was behind the oil depot attack, which supplies Russia’s army, describing it as a move “to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation.”

Additionally, a drone attack targeted a central oil depot in the town of Proletarsk, and a daring offensive was launched on Russia’s capital, Moscow.

Volodymyr Zelensky has been open about the purpose of these attacks, aiming to demonstrate to Western countries Ukraine’s effective use of resources.

In response, Putin accused the Ukrainians of attempting to destabilise Russia and likened them to terrorists.
