Ukraine obliterates key Russia bridges with missile strikes cutting off Putin's troops

Ukraine used missiles to down key bridges inside Russia today to thwart Vladimir Putin’s war supply lines.

Pictures show the result of a HIMARS missile strike over the Seim River in the Kursk region, which Kyiv’s forces partially occupy.

It is the latest blow to Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.

The bridge in Glushkovsky district was blown apart in a second strike, after the first attempt holed the structure but left it intact. A mass evacuation was being carried out in Glushkov district, home to around 20,000 people.

The downed bridge now prevents Putin from transferring personnel and supplying reinforcements to his troops at the frontline, now inside Russia.

Reports indicate this is not the only bridge to be destroyed.

A frantic post from a pro-war channel said: “Part of the Glushkovsky district is now cut off. This is Tyotkino, Popovo-Lezhachi, Volfino and about 27 more settlements.

“The civilian population can now only be evacuated by water.

“The enemy is also hitting the bridge in the village of Zvannoye in the Glushkovsky district.

The destroyed bridge is some 13 miles inside Russia from the border.

It is yet another humiliation for Putin who has shown himself unable to control his own territory while trying to swallow neighbour Ukraine.
