Moped-riding thieves snatched three Rolex watches thousands of dollars from a man walking on a Queens street, police and sources said Wednesday.
The robbers approached the 24-year-old male victim on Aug. 2 around 6:13 p.m. at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 70th Road in Forest Hills, and grabbed the pricey watches from the stunned victim, police said. The thieves took off mopeds heading westbound on Queens Boulevard.
Police sources said the watches were worth more than $100,000s.
Police released both video footage and photos of the robbers. One was described as wearing a long sleeve shirt, shorts and a baseball cap; the other robber was described as wearing a Nike tank top, shorts and a baseball hat.
The victim was not injured in the heist.
