Even as we’re in the dog days of summer, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Mariah Carey.
The Grammy Award-winning superstar announced on Friday that her annual Christmas Time Tour is returning this year — and commemorating a special anniversary.
The 20-city trek will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Carey’s 1994 album “Merry Christmas,” which gifted the world the ubiquitous holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Kicking off on Nov. 6 in Highland, Calif., the tour will travel across the country before reaching the New York City area, where stops include Newark’s Prudential Center (Dec. 13), Belmont Park’s UBS Arena (Dec. 15) and its final show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (Dec. 17).
“It’s not time yet, but I have exciting news!!” the unofficial “Queen of Christmas” teased in the caption of an Instagram photo, in which she promised her “biggest holiday tour to date.”
In addition to the superstar’s classic holiday songs, promoter Live Nation said Carey’s “grandest spectacle to date” will feature other chart-toppers.
Tickets go on presale Aug. 6 with general sales beginning Aug. 9 at 10 a.m.
