Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly struggling as they feel excluded from King Charles’s future plans for the monarchy.
Four years ago, the couple exited their Royal duties to start afresh in Montecito, California, but news of the King’s illness might have them considering a return to the UK.
Talks about the future of the monarchy following the King’s cancer diagnosis have reportedly begun, and these discussions include the prospect of Meghan and Harry resuming their official roles.
Royal expert, Jennie Bond, has suggested that Harry might be prepared to “uproot his family” if necessary.
Speaking to Heat magazine, Ms Bond depicts the preparations for Harry and Meghan’s potential return as an “extreme precaution”.
Ms Bond made it clear that any role Harry might assume would only be temporary, asserting that Prince William’s son, George, would be eligible to become King when he reaches 18 in seven years.
Reportedly, a source told the publication that it is “hard” for Harry and Meghan to learn that King Charles is making succession plans without discussing with them. Nonetheless, the Sussexes are not expected to create any drama over this.
