New blow for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as Archewell Productions thrown into ‘chaos'

A royal commentator has claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity, the Archewell Foundation, has been thrown into “chaos” over supposed “productivity levels.” Kinsey Schofield, a US based expert, claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex work just one hour per week for their charity.

She alleged this is what the Montecito-based couple told the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which is the American company responsible for collecting taxes, and she went on further to voice her opinion on the royal couple’s work ethic.

Speaking to Sky News Australia, Kinsey stated: “Their contract with Spotify was terminated because they were not productive enough. Archewell Productions is in chaos because their Netflix deal is under pressure, likely because of productivity.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s deal with Spotify was ditched after just one 12-episode series of Meghan’s podcast, titled Archetypes.

Harry and Meghan signed a lucrative deal supposedly worth £18m with the streaming giant in late 2020, to host and produce podcasts. Meghan’s podcast won a gong at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, but it was not renewed – with reports that the couple had not met the required benchmark to receive the full payout deal.

A statement from Archewell Audio read: “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”

In the episodes, Meghan spoke to celebrities and friends including tennis star Serena Williams, singer Mariah Carey and entrepreneur, Paris Hilton.
