The 23-year-old son of rapper Remy Ma has been charged with murdering a man in Queens in 2021, police said Wednesday.
Jayson Scott and a second suspect, Richard Swygert, 22, were arrested for first-degree murder Tuesday for the Jun 7, 2021 shooting death of 47-year-old ex-con Darius Guillebeaux, police said.
The victim was confronted by two men who opened fire at 148th St. and Rockaway Blvd. in South Jamaica.
Guillebeaux, struck multiple times in the head and chest, was rushed by medics to Jamaica Hospital but could not be saved.
He served three terms in state prison, two for selling drugs and one for robbery, records show. It wasn’t clear what sparked the fatal shooting.
Scott, who lives in the Bronx, police said, is one of Remy Ma’s two children.
