Fortnite supervised settings – Fortnite matchmaking experiencing issues

Just 24-hours after the release of the latest update, Fortnite is experiencing additional server issues. The unexpected Fortnite downtime is affecting matchmaking on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android and Nintendo Switch. Players attempting to login to Fortnite Battle Royale and other game modes are being hit with a message about supervised settings failing to download. Fortnite developer Epic Games has acknowledged the matchmaking issues on X (formerly Twitter), telling fans that it is investigating the problem and will provide an update when the issue is resolved.

“We are investigating an error preventing logins,” reads an Epic tweet. “An update will be provided as soon as we resolve the issue.”

Epic Games followed the initial tweet with a second post explaining how matchmaking is also a problem

“Players will find matchmaking in Fortnite may also be experiencing issues,” reads a follow-up post.

Unfortunately, the supervised settings issue has had a knock on effect, with various cup competitions being delayed.

“Due to an issue, we’ll be delaying FNCS ME and other ME cups by 30 minutes.”
