A body has been found in the search for Michael Mosley and, although police have not identified who it is, Piers Morgan has offered a heartbreaking tribute to the BBC star.
Writing on X, Morgan said: ” BREAKING: Body found in search for TV doctor Michael Mosley on the Greek island of Symi. Very sad development.”
A major search operation is underway after the 67-year-old TV personality went missing on the Greek island of Symi on Wednesday.
Dr Mosley, known for his appearances on shows including This Morning, was last seen by friends at the Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday, before going for a walk.
Drones, helicopters and rescue dogs have been deployed on the Aegean Island as part of efforts to locate the father-of-four.
The Press Association reports the body was discovered in a rocky area beside Agia Marina on Symi on Sunday.
