Former KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley has died after suffering injuries from a fall last month. He was 74.

Frehley’s family shared a statement with Variety, confirming his passing.

“We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth.

“We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!” the statement said.

TMZ reported earlier on Thursday that Frehley was on life support after suffering from a brain bleed after taking a fall in his studio a few weeks ago. He had to cancel his tour dates and the outlet reported that his condition had not improved.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Frehley’s representatives for comment.

On Sept. 25, Frehley’s Instagram account shared a statement saying he had a “minor fall” in his studio and was taken to the hospital.

“He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time,” the statement said.

He was forced to cancel his show at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California on Sept. 26.
