Lettuce
Lettuce grows quickly and easily, especially when planted in mild weather like early spring or fall. It does well in raised beds, the ground or a container.
They need an abundance of sunlight and regular watering. They can also be harvested continuously.
Radishes
The root vegetable takes just weeks to grow. It’s best to plant them in cooler temperatures in spring and fall.
One reason they are so easy is because they can be grown in almost any type of soil. They also can be placed next to any kind of plant.
Don’t miss…
Cherry tomatoes
“Cherry tomatoes are often super forgiving of many of the mistakes beginner gardeners make,” Nelli said.
The plant loves the warmth and direct sunlight. You should make sure the soil around the cherry tomatoes stays moist, but it shouldn’t be too wet that the roots remain soggy.
Cucumbers
The watery vegetable is compact and can survive in many different environments, Nelli said. They do best in mid-20 degree temperatures.
Cucumbers can grow quickly with little care. The most work you’ll need to do is make sure they are regularly fed with water-soluble plant food.
