RICHARD JOHNSON: Biebers relieved baby news has quieted divorce rumors

Justin Bieber’s pals say he’s relieved that news of his wife Hailey Bieber’s pregnancy has cut back on the false divorce rumors that have plagued the couple over the past year.

Hailey has turned to her pal, Kim Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner, for support during the ups and downs of being in the spotlight. They are the very best of friends and speak regularly about the stork’s arrival expected in August.

The two pals have bonded over their love of astrology, meditation, exercise and their beauty routines. Jenner, 28, the only Kardashian sibling not to have children yet, is closely monitoring Hailey’s pregnancy. The somewhat reluctant reality show star has also been the world’s highest paid model, surpassing Gisele Bündchen, for the past six years.

Kendall, who first appeared on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” when she was 11, tells pals she’d like to have children one day, but for now she is enjoying her freedom.

Men are crying more than ever, and that’s good, says Ryan Kopyar, author of “Big Boys Do Cry.”

Justin Bieber, Floyd Mayweather and King Charles are a few tearful men. Jon Stewart gave a weepy tribute to his dog.

“Life gets better when we get in touch with our emotions, and have permission to cry,” Kopyar told me.

“That vulnerability facilitates a deeper compassion with loved ones.”

When his brother Jason Kelce announced his retirement after 13 years on the Philadelphia Eagles, Travis Kelce broke down in tears.

“It causes men to say, ‘If he can cry, I can cry.’ It snowballs from there. The stigma is being broken,” Kopyar said.

Best-selling rock ‘n’ roll biographer Mark Bego now has a book on politics, “Campaigning For President.”

“Political campaigns are 90 percent show business, and the act of finding an audience and playing to it — it’s just like the music business,” Bego said.

Bego’s last two books were “Band of Gold” with Freda Payne, and “Joe Cocker:  With a LOT of Help from His Friends.”

But then he was asked to update the 2008 book by the late Jordan M. Wright, the biggest collector of presidential campaign memorabilia.

Bego was approached by Wright’s widow, Pamala Wright, about writing five new chapters, and re-imagining the original coffee table book.

“It intrigued me, and I was up for the challenge,” proclaims Bego.

“The best part of this assignment is the fact that the book does not take political sides. It is all about the memorabilia that is created for a presidential campaign, not the politics of it.”

This is Bego’s 69th published book.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is skewing older.

After putting Martha Stewart on the cover last year, this year it’s CBS star Gayle King, plus Chrissy Teigen, Hunter McGrady and Kate Upton.

SI flew the models to The Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, along with Lily Aldridge and Christie Brinkley.

The ladies were treated to a weekend of beauty courtesy of Attain Medspa, whose owner Lauren Ben-Meir, said, “I am petite — it was crazy to spend the whole weekend surrounded by Amazons.”

Big standouts in her professional eyes are Brooks Nader and Jillian Hayes, who plays basketball for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
