A shocking video has emerged showing a violent brawl erupting during a kindergarten graduation ceremony in Tennessee.
The fight broke out at Buckley Carpenter Elementary in Somerville on May 15, when an argument between two women escalated into a full-blown fight, Fox 13 Memphis reported.
The women, identified as Tyeisha Humphreys and Kierra Smith, were seen fighting down the gymnasium bleachers.
At least two others were also seen fighting on the basketball court.
Tyeisha Humphreys claimed she was attacked first, while Smith maintained that her old acquaintance started the fight.
CCTV footage reportedly showed Humphreys sitting directly behind Smith before moving away.
An argument then broke out between Smith and a child, leading to Humphreys running down the bleachers to hit Smith from behind.
Ronda Humphreys, who was arrested following the incident, told Fox 13 that she was wrongfully arrested and claimed her son was elbowed in the head by an adult during the chaos.
“I got hysterical. The police called the ambulance,” she revealed to the media outlet. “They said he had a concussion and released him.”
Following the graduation chaos, Dantavious Gilchrease, along with mother-daughter duo Ronda and Tyeisha Humphreys, were taken into custody.
The relationship between the three adults is unknown.
Gilchrease was apprehended outside the school for allegedly threatening Rhonda Humphreys that he would “shoot her in the face,” as reported by the outlet.
Tyeisha Humphreys faced charges of violating an order of protection, inciting a riot, and three counts of simple assault, according to the outlet’s report.
