Knicks’ Jalen Brunson suffers fractured hand in Game 7 vs. Pacers

Jalen Brunson suffered a fractured left hand Sunday and was ruled out of Game 7 against the Pacers, delivering the biggest possible blow to the already injury-ravaged Knicks.

Brunson checked out at the 3:02 mark of the third quarter, with the Knicks down 92-74, and did not not return.

The Knicks announced early in the fourth quarter that the star point guard was out for the game.

Brunson scored at least 39 points in six of the Knicks’ 13 games this postseason. He suffered a foot injury in Game 2 of the second-round playoff series against the Pacers but played through it.

His absence created another void for a Knicks team that already lost Julius Randle, Bojan Bogdanović and Mitchell Robinson to significant injuries. Josh Hart (abdominal strain) and OG Anunoby (hamstring strain) both started Sunday.
