Emory University in Atlanta announced an active shooter was on its campus on Friday afternoon.
Students were urged to avoid the area of Emory Point.

The Emory University Police Department, DeKalb Police Department and DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to inquiries from Fox News Digital.
