He plays guard in college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines and is a four-star recruit.

But Justin has stunned his team by announcing he is entering the transfer portal.

Michigan advanced to the Sweet 16 stage of March Madness this week.

But Pippen will not travel with the team to Atlanta, Georgia for the next stage.

The transfer portal is open for 30 days for Pippen to find a move away from Michigan.

He has played 28 times this season and averaged 6.7 minutes per game.

But the 20-year-old didn’t see the court during the first two rounds of March Madness.

His last game for the Wolverines was on March 9.

Pippen has averaged just 1.6 points per game along with 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists.

According to 247 Sports, he had offers from Stanford, California and Texas A&M.

He went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2022.

Pippen Jr. was picked up by the Los Angeles Lakers and spent time with their G-League team the South Bay Lakers.
