2 arrested after wild Jersey City vandalism spree, throwing urine at police

A wild crime spree ended with criminal charges against two men accused of smashing half a dozen windshields, threatening police and tossing urine at law enforcement officers in Jersey City.

Authorities said the early Sunday morning mayhem ensued when Isman Coyoy Cahuex, 20, of Newark, and Isaiah Drouet, 22, of Jersey City, began stomping on vehicles, including at least one squad car, according to NJ.com.

The suspects also reportedly threatened to kill police officers over the course of their vandalism spree.

The alleged rampage took place over a 12-block stretch of the Heights neighborhood near the Hudson River atop the New Jersey Palisades.

It’s not clear what the suspects’ motivation may have been, with NJ.com reporting the crime spree appeared to be “random.”

Jersey City officials could not immediately be reached for further details.
